In keeping with the theme of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which was November 14-20th (GEW), the November meeting of the Lexington Venture Club hosted three dynamic presenters who are great examples of the entrepreneurs within the Lexington Community.
Anthony Pistilli, CEO of Phoenix Global Designs, Inc, which was the winner of the October round of the LVC’s 5Across pitch competition, presented and also demonstrated the Company’s new wireless technology product – Guardian Ace.
Next, Ben Askren, a former Lexmark engineer and Founder 42nd Parallel, LLC, told the audience about his entrepreneurial experience and journey. Ben also discussed the Company’s BuildCalc mobile application for building professionals and how this new technology is being quickly adopted within industry.
To wrap the meeting up, John Meister, Lafe Taylor and Lamar Wilson, Co-Founders of Pheeva, LLC, a recent Kentucky Enterprise Fund grant recipient and developer of an HTML5 online game and monetization platform, told LVC members about the progress which this new Company is making in developing a new platform technology which will support game developers.
